Hope it was my grade 6 or 7 a small interest uprooted within me..........Singing and dancing... whats this????????????? Even a bookworm like me of that stage cud also find interest in these stuffs... yeah but its true i had the passion for singing and dance...Though i didnt learnt singing professionally i did practiced much ..what a wonder i started singing "good" ( the phrase good sounds true to me alone). Even dance was a passion but i have always hided that from all people when people around me do dance i ve never did.. it stopped till my bedroom dooor .........Even whne I conducted our last Teachers' day programme in my school.. had wide chance for myself to dance but i didnt for which i feel a lot now....... I made only others to dance. The show was a big success. I stopped with hosting the show with Jai and Raj and never entered to dance though i organised the show
Thought it was the end of my dance and singing passion. Luckily we had a chance of setting out for an NSS Camp. Luckily Prof. Bhaskaran gave the Cultural head responsibility to me and selva.
It was very tough time those 10 days. Morning have to get up at 5 have to walk a long way for breakfast and then followed by the current days work (Various camps, Town cleaning, Temple whitewashing, etc etc physical wokr) meanwhile by 1 pm i was happen to select students for dance adn various cultural activities......... And then striked an idea why dont i try teaching dance though i havent learnt professionally. So I started teaching some students of the local school school in that village where the camp was set out. Few learnt from me and danced and some they themselves "choreographed" for them and showed me.
My responsibilty was to daily conduct a cultural fest entertaining the people there. I guess there was huge crowd for that alone even we didnt see much crowd for all our awarreness camps which we did all the day. Every day i need to co ordinate and the next day the students will perform... Woow even i was able to make it a big success... Most of the people there and Prof. Bhaskaran too congratulated me for having done my work in a good way. All the students were so much bonded such that iw as not able to come out form that place after 10 days camp....
And meanwhile i even participated in couple of TV shows Paatuku paatu , Kaasu Malai etc..
I did sang Chennai senthamil one of my fav song sung by my fav singer H.Ragavendra in a show hosted by Pithamagan Sangeetha.........Believe me she complimented for that and told me to continue with proper vocal class. it was great pleasure to hear from her....Come on who doesnt like compliments!!!!!!!!!!!!! its after all me ...............so i liked that
Selva and Myself tried to take part in Airtel Super singer but still i cant sort out the reason why didnt we made our way that side............i still wonder????? Anyways Chennai escaped form me and selva ha ha.........
Having done small dance performances.. i was not satisfied......... coz learning dance at Swingers was always a great dream for Raj and myself from 7th std.......... i dont knwo why the hell we didnt made our dream true........
After these many years had a chance of learning dance at Swingers .. yes trust me am learning dance at swingers.....Started with Hip Hop...
After all the rehearsals....my final stage performance is to be show cased tomorrow by 7 pm. By tomorrow 7pm i might* be dancing on the stage at Music Academy Chennai.................
